Oh welcome to the Ralph report. It is a Monday to everybody watch the Oscars last night. Of course you did. You got to, right? Even if you're not interested, even if you haven't seen any of the films, it's sort of a tradition now. It's a part of our popular culture, everybody

watches the Oscars, and I gotta tell you, I feel often that I am a bit of a loser when it comes

to the entertainment world, that I do not really belong.

However, when I see my friends hosting the Oscars, it changes my perspective a little bit.

First of all, my first friend I saw was Seth

McFarland, who by the way, underrated in my opinion as an Oscar host. I thought he crushed it

that year. He got beat up pretty badly in the press and undeservedly so in my opinion. And then last year and

then again this year Jimmy Kimmel was hosting the Oscars and here's a guy I've known for 20 years up there hosting the Oscars and I think he did a pretty good job

it's a brutal brutal gig is hosting the Oscars you can't really win and I thought

Jimmy did a pretty good job of keeping things moving along.

I tried to keep things light.

Had some good bits in there.

I thought the bit where they took a lot of celebrities

into the theater to meet and greet

with the audience members watching a Disney film,

which owns ABC, by the way, to promote their wrinkle in time film.
