On August 10th, 1991, a man was found dead in a hotel room, a case that appeared one way,

but when all was said and done, took on a whole new shape when his life's work was taken into

and start your day with a morning cup of murder. Joseph Daniel Castellaro was born on June 16, 1947.

Raised by Catholic parents, his father was an obstetrician, and Danny, as he was often called, was the second of what would be six children.

Attending Providence College until 1968, Joseph married a former Miss Virginia, Terrell Pace.

The couple had a son, Trey, and after 10 years of marriage, they divorced and he retained

primary custody of the boy. Now, this was just the big surface stuff that was going on in

Joseph's life. None of this touches his interests and his hobbies, of which there were many.

In addition to enjoying amateur boxing, writing poems and short stories, and raising

purebred Arabian horses, Joseph dabbled in journalism.

Specifically, he began looking into issues such as the Soviet naval presence in Cuba,

the Castro Intelligence Network, and if Chinese communists were

smuggling opium into the U.S. And in 1991, he was working on what would likely be his most

controversial piece of work, one that just maybe may have led to his untimely death.

After dabbling in journalism for years, towards the end of the 1970s,
