Angela Marie Raubble, jelly to all who knew and loved her, was born on June 4th, 1908 in

Lynn's Austria-Hungary, as the second child and eldest daughter

born to Leo and Angela Rabel. Angela, the girl's mother, was Adolf Hitler's half-sister,

making Jelly the man's half-niece. Her father, unfortunately, when he was 31 and Jelly was just two,

leaving Angela to raise her children on her own. In 1925, she went to work as Hitler's housekeeper

and the children, 17-year-old Jelly included, accompanied her mother, meaning she spent the next

six years in very close contact

with her uncle, who was 19 years older than her.

Now, when Hitler invited her mother to move to his much larger home in Berghoff, a villa

where she would work as a housekeeper, he asked Jelly if she wanted to stay behind with him

instead of going off with her mother and sister. You see, despite the massive age difference and

the fact that they were related, sources say that Hitler became utterly infatuated by Jelly

Rabel. Described as a quote, unusual beauty, he started to grow overbearing of the girl and would not let her out of his sight.
