Here is one really powerful question you can ask yourself.

should I take this promotion and move? Should I get married? Should I expand my family?

This applies to decisions massive and trivial. Okay? It's simple. When making a choice,

which option will minimize future regret? What will minimize future regret? I think that I first

heard this question from Mark

Manson, who wrote the subtle art of not giving a fuck a while ago, and it's just always stuck with me

when it comes to decision making. When it comes to making that call, what will you regret less

in the future? Now think about it. Indecisions stretches pain out right over time.

Making decisions quickly is advisable. And even wrong decisions give you clarity. They give

you momentum. They give you data and information. They still also build self-trust because you're

moving. You're not static and stuck.

When it comes to whether or not you should reach out to that person and make amends,

I'm guessing action is something that you won't regret and I'm guessing anything that comes from a place of love or creativity within you is something that you will never regret.
