her 14-year-old son, Evan Schartrand.

They vanished from their home in the tiny Alabama community of Holtville

on Memorial Day in 2017. They haven't been seen or heard from since and their bodies have not been found.

Unfortunately, it didn't take long for me to become convinced that Susan and Evan are no longer with us.

I've learned there is a great deal of evidence that they were murdered,

and there is no evidence to indicate that they have been seen or heard from since Memorial Day weekend in 2017.
