Matthew 1344, The Kingdom of Heaven is like something precious buried in a field,

which a man found and hid again, then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys

that field. Wow, he's found something that's worth everything else he's got. Come on, I want you to get this today.

Again, in case we missed it the first time, the kingdom of heaven is like a man who is a dealer

in search of fine and precious pearls, who on finding a single pearl of great price,

went and sold all that he had.

What are we willing to sacrifice in order to have the relationship with God that he's offering us and to have peace and joy?

Now, you know, we're going to get into each one of these areas in detail, but let's just skip ahead to tonight for

just a minute, and let's just take peace.

You know, about 15 years ago, I just decided I'm not going to live without peace.

Just not going to.

And I decided the world's not going to change, but I can adjust.

So one of the things that I don't do anymore is drama.

I don't do drama because it steals my peace.
