Romans 1417, the kingdom of God is not a matter of getting. Say getting. If you weren't here last night, I'm only going to lay a very short foundation about what you missed.

The kingdom of God is not a matter of getting.

This says food and drink.

It's really talking about more than that.

So let's just say that the kingdom of God is not a matter of me just getting everything that I want.

It's not a matter of me getting married or not getting married or getting the promotion I want at work or getting more money or getting a bigger house or getting the right friends or getting the right clothes

or getting my ministry to grow.

That's not what the kingdom of God is about.

But it is righteousness. Knowing who you are in Christ is the absolute most valuable thing that you can have.

I mean, there is nothing better than having that confidence that God loves you, being secure, living without the need to impress

people all around you all the time, so they're going to think well of you.

It is so valuable.

And if you don't know who you are in Christ, you will live with guilt and condemnation, and
