Hey, deserving listeners. It's just me today. I have been getting a lot of emails and messages

0:15.6

from people asking me to do an episode on Theon Greyjoy. I have done episodes on Joffrey.

0:24.0

I have done an episode on Ramsey, and Cersei, and the Hound. The one on the Hound is for patrons

0:30.9

only, so become a patron and you can hear that one. And people have been bugging me for, I

0:38.2

don't know, a couple of years now, asking me to do Theon because his character is just so darn

0:46.0

interesting. I think a lot of people identify with Theon. By the way, this is all from the Game

0:52.5

of Thrones, or the book series, the Song of Ice and Fire. If you didn't know that, then you are

0:57.9

not going to be interested in this podcast episode as my guest. But anyway, I think a lot of people

1:02.4

identify with Theon Greyjoy. He's particularly the TV version, because in the book, he comes

1:09.6

a, it's hard to identify with Theon in the books, but in the TV show, they make it easier.

enthusiasm or something. You know, you can just imagine Theon with that music in the background,

1:27.2

boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, you know,

1:30.2

that curb your enthusiasm soundtrack. And just seeing Theon make all these mistakes. And then

1:37.4

later on, he's just trying to be a good guy. He's just an insecure guy with, with faults, and

1:44.5

he's, he's, he's trying. And I think that in a certain way, I think for a lot of us, we can

1:51.8

identify with, with that feeling, that feeling that we're trying. And then we make mistakes, or

2:00.6

we lose our temper, or we make a bad joke, or we put our, you know, our foot in our mouth, or

2:06.4

we're insecure, and we lash out, or we're, we're insecure. We're immature. We're trying to act cool.

2:13.7

And then, and then we suffer a great deal because of that. And then in the end, we just look back and

2:21.9

think, you know, we just smack our head and say, I can't, you know, we face palm. And we just say,

2:27.4

I can't believe I did all those things. And I think in The Game of Thrones universe, Theon is, is a
