Hey deserving listeners, today I'm going to talk about serial killers.

I've talked about a number of serial killers before. I've done deep dives on Ted Bundy and Jeffrey Dahmer and such.

But today I'm going to I'm going to do a little intro here and then I'm going to play an interview in which I was on the radio, but I want to do a little intro here and then I'm going to play an interview in which I was on the radio but I want to do a little introduction here first.

But first let me introduce the podcast which is called Psychology in Seattle. I'm your host Dr. Kirk Honda, I'm a therapist and a professor so months and months ago I don't

know six to nine months ago I got an email from someone asking me to be on their

radio program.

And I get a fair amount of those emails these days

and I usually turn them down because, I don't know, I'm just kind of busy,

but this one seemed kind of interesting and it

seemed like a legit organization so I emailed them back and the their people

reached out to me to say yeah yeah, you know, there's this

national syndicated radio show and they want to talk with you about psychology and

I was like, okay, well, you know, tell them to email with me and we go back and forth for a while.

And a certain point I started talking with the journalist interviewer, DJ and he starts talking and I ask him like well okay what

do you want to talk about he's like well I just want to talk about everything

psychology and I was like well could you narrow it down a little bit and he says well

we usually talk about UFOs in parasycology and the paranormal and Bigfoot and that kind of

thing and I was like oh I'm I'm sorry about this, but I'm probably not the best person to have on your show because I'm actually quite skeptical of the claims that a lot of people make about UFOs and bigfoot and that kind of thing.

And although I'd be happy to talk about it with you, I'm probably not the best person for

your audience because everyone's going to hate me blah blah blah and he was like no no no

I I love that kind of stuff we can we can totally talk about it and I was like well okay
