So, Burdo, Kanye West, new documentary, let's talk about it. What do you say?

0:05.2

Let's do it. This is the Psychology and Seattle podcast. I'm your host, Dr. Kirk Honda. I'm a therapist and a professor.

0:10.5

My name is Umberto Kastanya and I teach people how to eat ice cream while meditating.

0:15.3

So we did an episode on Kanye in 2019 because people were asking us to comment on his most recent

0:23.0

behavior, thinking that he was crazy or that was before the presidency run and all that.

0:28.8

Right. Yeah. As before, arguably half of the drama that he's exhibited.

0:34.4

And we detailed everything in that episode. And you can go back to listen to that because we

0:39.0

detailed his childhood, everything that we know about his development, about each incident with

0:45.6

Taylor Swift and all the various different incidents up until that point. So I'd listen to that.

1:12.8

who especially early on had access to him before he was famous, really. And it gives us more

1:21.2

information that we can now talk about regarding Kanye's development and personality.

1:25.9

There's also been a lot more interviews since 2019, where he talks about bipolar and other

1:32.5

kinds of things. I remember at the time of 2019, it was like, well, he might have bipolar,

1:37.0

and he sort of referenced it kind of in his songs. But he hasn't come out and said since 2019,

1:44.2

he's had full interviews where he's like, I have bipolar, I take medication, DDDD. And another thing

1:50.0

that I remember talking about in the 2019 episode was we had his public behavior.

1:56.5

We did not have what's behind the scenes. And I remember saying like, we'd have to ask him

2:00.6

Kardashian, we'd have to ask his friends, what does he like behind the scenes? Because

2:06.1

someone's public persona could be completely either fabricated in terms of an indication of
