On Thursday, August 4th, 2022, at around 140 pm, surveillance video in Los Angeles captured a Mercedes Benz coupe slamming through a red light at approximately 90 miles an hour.

At the wheel, was 37-year-old Nicole Linton.

The intersection Linton drove through was very busy, bordered by multiple lanes of traffic in all directions, stores and a gas station.

Preliminary reports have indicated that Linton did not break as she approached the intersection.

As she ran the red light, she struck two cars with such force that they split in half.

In one of those cars was a pregnant woman, her boyfriend and her 11-month-old son.

They were on their way to the doctor's office for her eight-month checkup.

Nicole Linton's car propelled their vehicle into yet another car. Two women were inside.

The impact caused both cars to burst into flames. All six people inside those two cars were killed.

The Mercedes also careened into an SUV carrying seven family members. Luckily, they escaped with only minor injuries.

Five other vehicles were caught up in the crash, including two that became engulfed in flames and another that rolled onto its roof.

Eight people in total were taken to the hospital. One of them was the woman who caused it all.

Nicole Linton, a nurse, was photographed seated upright on a curb shortly after the accident.

Physically, she appeared all right. It would turn out that she escaped serious injury with just a broken foot and hand.

Her top psychology report came back negative, so alcohol and drugs were quickly ruled out as a factor.
