Welcome to Horror Movie Club. The show where two dudes who are not quite

nerds, but not quite nobs, choose a horror movie each week to rate and review. I'm Brian. I'm on the

phone with Oshman, and today we are discussing The Prouler from 1981, directed by Joseph Zito,

written by Glenn Leopold and Neil Barbera, starring Vicki Dawson and Christopher Goutman.

In this film, a college puts its annual graduation dance on hiatus after a double murder in

1945. But when the college holds its first graduation dance in 35 years in the year 1980,

the murders also began anew. And if you're new to the show, we're going to talk spoiler-free about

this movie for the first 20 minutes or so, but after that, we're going to play some transition

music and switch into spoiler mode where we walk through the plot in detail and review the film

as we go. So, if you haven't seen it, you can hang out with us for the next 20 or so, but once you

hear that transition music, go watch this movie if you don't want it to be spoiled.
