Greetings Clarswold Citizens. I hope this podcast finds you well.

This is the second podcast of the month of September 2011 and today we actually have a very special treat.

The author of the story, The Promise of Space, James Patrick Kelly, approached me at the World

Con in San Antonio and said, hey, would you like to do a live reading of this?

And maybe if we could capture it while we read it,

and we could use it for the podcast.

Well, it was sort of a bittersweet reading because it was amazing. We had everybody in tears at the end of this, but unfortunately

there was some sort of circus or mass extinction event going on in the other room, adjoining

the room that we were in, so there's a bit of background noise.

I'm going to see what I can do about possibly cleaning up that recording and offering up to
