Greetings Clarksville Citizens. I hope this podcast finds you very well and I must apologize after returning home from WorldCon.

I did get very sick.

And this is the first day where I think I have a passable voice

enough to read you a story.

So thank you for your patience and thank you for not showing up

of my door with torches and pitchforks. And thank you if you had a chance to

vote because if you haven't heard the news already,

Clark's World walked away with the Award for Best Semi Proazine.

I have to admit the category was so fantastic.

Every one of those nominees deserve that award.

And his author Kristi Yant had once said to me,

you could throw a dart in that category.

And whoever it landed on, we'd be thrilled for them.

So it was genuine surprise when we walked up on that stage and received the awards.

And it was emotional and I actually wrote the speech this time. So thank you. Thank you if you were there and you stopped by and said

hello. Thank you if you voted. I'd also like to congratulate all of the other nominees

and the Hugo winners as well. With all that

wonderful Cloud 9 talk out of the way, I'd like to get to the first story of the

month of September. Mar Pacifico by Greg Melor. Now Greg has also had a story in the Clarks World

podcast called Signals in the Deep which was featured in September 2011.
