One of the many things that I love about Jesus is that he knows our hearts.

0:18.5

He knows that when life feels like it's spinning out of control, which it often does for a

0:23.8

variety of reasons, he knows that one of our first things that we're going to do is take that on internally

0:31.7

and allow those emotions to start guiding our thoughts. And so Jesus starts this passage in John chapter 14.

1:41.2

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I'm coming again and will take you to myself so that where I am,

1:45.5

there you also will be. And you know the way where I am going.

1:50.3

Thomas said to him, Lord, we do not know where you are going. How do we know the way?

1:57.7

Jesus said to him, I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.

2:04.3

If you had known me, you would have known my father also. From now on, you know him and have seen him. Philip said to him, Lord, show us the father, and it is enough for us. Jesus said to him,
