Hi everyone, it's Borklark in New York. We have known for a while now that a central

tenant of the alternate reality that today's Republican Party exists in is that there

is a so-called deep state. And that deep state is out to persecute the ex-president, is

allies and other conservatives. Now, having managed to become House Speaker by the skin

of his teeth, Kevin McCarthy is enacting an agenda based entirely off of that warped

and delusional worldview. One of his first acts as Speaker, removing congressmen Adam

Schiff and Eric Swalwell from the powerful and important House Intelligence Committee.

McCarthy denied that the move had anything to do, but the little fact that the two men

are prominent critics of a disgrace twice impeached ex-president and his allies. For for

Schiff and Swalwell, McCarthy's real reason could not have been any clearer.

The Cardinal Senn appears to be that I led the impeachment of his master and Mar-a-Lago

for withholding hundreds of millions of dollars in military aid from Ukraine, a nation

that was even then at war with Russia in order to extort that country into helping Donald

Trump's re-election campaign. You're seeing now the fulfillment of Kevin McCarthy's corrupt

bargain, a corrupt bargain with Marjorie Taylor Greene, somebody who declared on January

5th the day before the attack on the Capitol that this is 1776, someone who cheered on the

insurrectionists. McCarthy also made a few announcements regarding

two committees set up entirely to feed the GOP-basis delusions. NBC News reports this,

quote, the weaponization of the federal government panel, which will investigate Republican allegations

of the Justice Department, the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies are being weaponized

to investigate conservatives like former President Donald Trump. We'll include representatives

Chip Roy of Texas and Dan Bishop of North Carolina, two of the 21 conservative holdouts
