Maybe they don't want the country to go into an economic panic or markets to drop.

Maybe they think that some foreign adversaries will take advantage of the situation if they

know that the president is weak.

Sometimes it's just a crass political calculation that they don't want to appear to be weak.

Over the reasoning, more often than not, white houses do not give out accurate and timely

information about the president's medical condition in a case like this.

A large number of executive branch and legislative branch officials have also tested positive

for the virus.
