I love following this last session. I'm going to actually speak on Sabbath and on rest.

So it's good when God is orchestrating the day and he's writing this story.

So you guys are here at worship you

to learn how to minister to God.

And I believe that those who most effectively minister to God are those who allow God to minister to them. him.

We love God because he first loved us.

We sing to God because he first loved us. We sing to God because he first sang over us.

Everything creative we do, we do because God first did it over us. This morning we sing a lyric. Like the dust that you first held in a garden where you now pull me up against your face again.

God's first interaction with man was a messy interaction.

The Almighty God kneels down in dirt and he sculpts out a clump of mud and the angels are gasping. The holy of holies has dirt under his fingernails.

God's first interaction with us was messy and dirty.

And he begins to what the angels think is he's creating a self-portrait or a sculpture that looks just like himself, right?

Because he's creating man in his image.

And then he comes and he presses his lips

against the dust he's holding and he breathes his pressure system, his life

into us and then we open our eyes and we see the face of God.

Our first moment with him, dust was on his lips.
