And with that, let's get into the Word of God. First Corinthians chapter 15 today.

On Sunday mornings, before the prophecy update, we're going through 1 Corinthians chapter by chapter and verse by verse.

And today our text will be verses 51 through 58 in chapter 15.

And once you find your way there, if you're able, I'll ask you to stand.

The Apostle Paul by the Holy Spirit is writing, verse 51, and says, listen, I tell you a mystery. We will not all sleep,

but we will all be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For

the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable and we will be changed.

For verse 53, the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable and the mortal

with immortality.

When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality. When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal

with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true. Death has been swallowed

up in victory. Where, O death is your victory? Where, O death is your sting?

The sting of death is sin and the power of sin is the law.

But thanks be to God, verse 57.

He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters,

stand firm, let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord

because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. Let's pray if you would join

with me. Loving Heavenly Father, will you by the Holy Spirit, settle us and enable us to focus our attention upon you and your Word

and that which you have for us in your Word today.
