At a lot of these things in the Old Testament is because it's been misapplied and applied

to us and said that God won't answer your prayers if you got any sin in your life and all this

kind of stuff and that is absolutely not true.

The grace of God has changed all this, but it didn't change it by God just declaring that

sin is no longer an offense. He paid for it. There was a huge price paid for

our salvation. And you know because, and again I'm guilty, when the Lord first spoke this to me about, you know, why would people be believing that there is no hell?

Why would people be believing in universal salvation and that even the devil is going to somehow or another

be reconciled to God.

I was just saying, how could this be and the Lord told me faith comes by hearing and hearing

by the word of God?

And he said, how many times have you preached on hell? And at that

time I had never preached on hell. I'd mentioned it. I believe that it existed, but I'd

never preached on it. And he he says how are people going to believe

if they aren't told the truth about this. And you can emphasize the grace of God and talk about

what God has done for us and glorify that to the point that people

don't recognize what we've been saved from.

They don't fully appreciate the grace of God because they don't think that the

transgression was that big of a deal.

And we live in a world today where people are losing their fear of God.
