Here in Philippians, chapter 3,

let's start reading with verse 17.

This is the apostle Paul speaking and he says,

brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as you have us for

an example.

You know, this is not my point, but this is such a powerful statement by Paul that it just merits some comment, but the Apostle Paul was so absolutely certain of his message and of his walk that he says you judge everybody and mark

them according to me. You know if you were to say that today you would be ridiculed you would be criticized for being arrogant, and who do you think you are, and we would, you know, this is just so politically incorrect, and yet the man who wrote half of the New Testament he

didn't say this just once he said it a number of times he says if anybody

preaches any other gospel unto you than that which I've preached let him be a cursed and then he repeated it and he says you

know you use us as an example and be followers together of me and all of these things.

He was absolutely certain of what he was preaching.

That is powerful. Well we could learn a lesson from that. And you know if we aren't

absolutely certain of what we're preaching I think we shouldn't be preaching

Shouldn't be preaching the opinion of people we shouldn't just be parroting what somebody else has said it needs to be things that we've gotten by

revelation and that we are absolutely certain of. Man that is a powerful truth.

Mark them which walks so as you have us for an example.

And then he says in parentheses, verse 18,

for many walk of whom I have told you often
