Yeah, let me say it again for our podcast listeners who may have missed last month.

Imagine that.

Anyway, high performance teams are comprised of people with extraordinary clarity around

what are we doing why why are we doing it how how do we do it here

along with a strong predisposition toward execution so last month we talked about the strong

predisposition toward execution selecting people who were doers, people who've done

something in the past with the hopes that they will do something in the future as they come to be a part of your

team.

We made the somewhat controversial statement that it's so much easier to educate a doer than it is to activate a thinker

That again the context of this entire conversation is getting things done so selecting people who are doers and then

training them into your specific context is part of what is necessary for

creating a great team. Last month you gave us a summary statement and its high performance teams are comprised

of people with extraordinary clarity around what, why, and how, along with a strong predisposition

towards execution.

Exactly, and in our conversation this month we're going to focus on the what and why, and

then next month we're going to come back around the question of how.
