Life is a journey, and the fourth section of the Psalms, known as the Numbers' Psalms, show us the goodness and guidance of God along that journey.

If we want to move forward, we must look up. Let's join Scott Pauli now as we open the Word of God and find direction for the road of life.

Do you believe in the power of prayer? You say, oh yes, I believe in the power of prayer?

We've come in our study to Psalm 100.

It's only five verses long, but it is packed full of God's truth

and so much here for us to unpack today. Psalm 100 is all about the power

of praise. He says, make a joyful noise under the Lord all ye lands. By the way, that word noise

literally has the idea of a greeting. Do you greet the Lord? Do you greet him each morning? Do you greet him through the day?

Do you greet him with joyful praise throughout the day? Make a joyful noise. It says in verse 2,

serve the Lord with gladness. Oh, I like that. Far too many people saying they're serving the Lord, but they've lost the gladness.

Come before His presence with singing.

Know ye that the Lord, he is God.

It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves.

We are his people and the sheep of his pasture.

His mercy is everlasting and his truth endureth to all generations.

I love the fact that the Psalm begins with all lands and closes with all generations.
