Waheed ran away back to the house where we were.

As we were leaving, all the villagers were lined up along the side of the road.

And they said, did you see that?

Did you see what?

And they said, last night, Wahid's dad came with a truckload of Mujahideens with RPGs and grenades and guns. They were going to take Waheed by force and kill everybody in sight.

And as they turned the corner, they looked up and they saw on top of the house four shiny, big men with blazing swords.

Waheed's dad said, surely my son knows, oh, holy God, we will not touch him.

And he turned around and left.
