So I remember seeing this absolute wreck of a man,

scabs all over him, hardly any teeth.

I looked at him and I said, you're like a diamond.

I couldn't understand why I'd said it.

And he said I was born in Diamond Hill.

And what the Lord had shown me was that this absolute wreck of a man was a jewel.

And that's the fun thing.

If the Lord actually gives you eyes to see who somebody can be,

you're such a special person.

And of course, this is how he came to know Jesus and then got off drugs.

about meeting different connections and friends of mine from across the globe who are doing

beautiful stuff to stir faith. I think many of us are a bit battered and bruised and certainly we are bombarded

relentlessly by negativity in the press of bad news which just induces fear and cynicism and

anxiety. So the point of inspired is in an hour's time you will get off whether you're on a dog walk

or driving the car or whatever, and you'll

leave encouraged and sturdy faith to know that God is on the throne, that he's powerful,

that he wants to be involved in your life. And I've got absolutely zero doubt that you're going

to be inspired this week because we have the privilege to have with us, Jackie Pullinger.
