This week it's all about unlocking your potential and a big hindrance to your potential is holding

onto things that don't serve you.

So today, how about you and I talk about the importance of letting go?

Why it's so difficult and how you can redirect your energy in order to get what you want

in life?

The reason why it's so hard to let go is because our brains love what's familiar.

Even if the job that you're in is sucking your soul dry or that relationship, ugh, it's

causing more drama than love, it's still what you know.

And anytime you go to change or take a risk or let go, your brain is going to fight that

change because it feels like something new might be dangerous.

And I'm here to tell you it's the opposite.

When you start to feel that that relationship or job or habits in your day to day life

is slowly draining your energy.

If it's not leading you toward the life or the version of yourself that you know you

want to be, it is time to let go of what's not serving you so you can reach for what's

going to come next.

What I think about letting go, I like to use a metaphor.

I live in Southern Vermont and one of the things that I love about Southern Vermont is in

the summertime it is so lush and so green.
