We have a very interesting coaching call. This is with a lovely listener named Disha. Disha has a very interesting circumstance.

Actually, one I doubt has really been on the podcast in the way that this is. She said, you know Heather, I'm that one unicorn.

I'm that person who has gained all the weight back and I track the whole time and I said, well, wait a second.

I said, actually, what I say is I've never met somebody who's gained all their weight back and tracked and couldn't tell me why it happened.

And in this podcast, you're going to get to hear a very interesting thing about the persuasion of thought.

You can get yourself in a community that's telling you something. Whatever the thing is, there's a lot of polarizing messages out there about either food addiction.

There's polarizing discussions about more intuitive eating and maybe not thinking you need to lose weight.

There's polarizing messages about maybe you're not eating enough and you need to be strength training and gaining all this muscle.

There's all these different clubs or groups or clicks or whatever you want to call it.

And they're all beating their drum so loud saying the same things over and over again that often people start to believe what they're hearing.

And they lose sight of valuing their own opinion, their own data, their truth in all of it.

And that is heartbreaking to me. It should not be that way.

I have always said from day one, you find what works for you. You try different things. You create a plan for you by you.

It should have elements of different things that sound appealing to you that you have tested and have worked for you.

But at the end of the day, it should not be blindly following somebody and somebody's message to the grave, so to speak.

You looking at yourself and saying, wow, interesting.

I'm journaling my calories at X and my weight is steadily going up.

And even if they're telling me it's okay, trust the process.
