podcast. I am Joe Paznanski and with me is Michael Shore. Michael

say something and I mean we have a wonderful guest on today but I've got to say something.

What's that? I feel like the podcast there was a before Dave Roberts and an after Dave Roberts.

I feel like we cross some sort of weird like Rubicon

when we had Dave Roberts on and it was like kind of legitimately awesome even with even us it was still kind of legitimately awesome

it was a real it was a real like sliding doors moment for us I think because for a couple of reasons one is it was like oh we've

been doing this all wrong for for the last 15 years we should have we should have been doing this a completely different way but also I was like anytime you have a person on as a guest who is like a he's he like works he's a he's a manager he where he I don't know if you know this he manages a baseball team

he does yeah and so I my instinct is to say like we have to be a little more professional in the

right we go about this we have to be let little more professional in the way we go about this.

We have to be, let's ask some like questions about the team and the N.

West or whatever.

And then instead, for whatever reason, we were just like, I think Moogie Betz is a good hugger do you agree and he instantly

was like not a good hugger surprisingly bad hugger and we were off and running.

And what I what it made me realize is like no one who is a guest on a podcast that's

ostensibly about baseball who works in baseball wants to talk about baseball

they talk about baseball all the time they want to do the stupid crap that we do yes

when we do this podcast.

They want to like goof around and it was completely changed the way that I think about
