I'm going to talk about pop culture. I'm going to talk about this Blake lively versus Baldoni

controversy and why you should care. The lost debate audience should care. Like, wonkish,

substantive political people should be paying attention to this Hollywood spat.

I'll explain it all. But before I do that, I got a couple of interesting voicemails that I want

to address at the top of the show. Let's start with the first one.

I have a simple request. I've been listening to your podcast on and off now for several years

since deep COVID, actually I remember because I think we were

probably in Senator Ace at the same time.

My only request is that you reconsider what the title of your show is.

I originally started listening to it because I thought we brought different perspectives.

And frankly, I do feel, especially in these last months, you've only been bringing

a perspective more of the last.

And I think that listeners would appreciate more balance than actually having actual

debates and different perspectives.

And maybe even, for example, I was listening to the podcast this morning on the OMB.

Maybe you could find someone who wasn't from the Biden administration to give their

perspectives on this because clearly they're not going to like those.

But maybe you could find someone from, I don't know, five or ten years ago from a different

era.

Anyway, I do like your podcast. I'd like to continue to listen to it,

but I kind of feel like it's lost its way a little bit in the sense of being a true debate. Thank you.
