I always mean to eat less before Thanksgiving and I never do it. Huh. But I'm impressed that you do. Well, I don't really, but I'm feeling low blood sugar at the moment. So I may, my behavior may be erratic. It's because you're thinking about those pies. Your mother is baking. Exactly. So that, of course, is Emily Bazelon, Slate Senior Editor in New Haven. Emily, are you the host of Thanksgiving? Are you traveling?
