0:00.0	Hey everyone, Artie here. So earlier this month, we collaborated with the organizers of the
0:05.9	Socialism Conference in Chicago to put together five sessions for this year's conference on the
0:11.2	political economy of health and disability. And today's episode is one of those conversations.
0:16.9	Listeners may remember that we also did this last year, but unlike last year, we're going to be doing
0:21.8	something a bit different with the release schedule this time. So last year, we released them all in
0:27.0	quick succession as a big block of episodes. And what we found was that in addition to it being a huge
0:34.6	undertaking to edit and transcribe all of those episodes in the span of a single week.
0:40.4	We also heard from a lot of people that it was hard to keep up with, that the episodes didn't
0:44.8	have enough room to breathe, and they got lost in people's feeds.
0:48.6	So considering how dense some of these sessions are, each one of them is truly a full death panel episode in its own
0:55.9	right. We're spacing them out a bit more this year. So these will be coming out over the course of the
1:01.2	next couple of weeks. And just like last year, each of these are going to be released in the public
1:05.7	feed. Another thing is that when possible, we're also going to be including some of the discussion portion of the sessions this year.
1:13.1	This is something we didn't do last year, and it's because, you know, it's a delicate thing and something where I'm going to be doing my best to bleep out or cut anything that could be considered identifying information.
1:25.1	But some of the questions and statements that arose this year out of the sessions just added
1:30.1	so much to the context of the conversation that we really wanted to try to preserve them in
1:35.1	the recording this year.
