Some episodes of the podcast are a stretch. They take time, they take coordination. I'm racking my brain of, you know, what I'm going to do, who I'm going to talk to.

And then there are episodes that are just immediate yeses, so simple, so easy. And this was one of those

episodes.

And that's because when I thought about who I wanted to speak with for the nine series,

who I wanted to embody the nine of pentacles,

immediately it was the guest we have on today. It is my friend Samantha Roddick, who is an incredible person, an amazing friend, and someone who just comes to mind when thinking about a literal

embodiment of the Nine of Pentacles on the Earth.

Sam has many talents, which range from herbalism to gardening, to interior design, to interior design,

to business, to thought leadership, to mothering, to friendship.

And I really know her as a considered, compassionate, beautiful person in all senses of the word.

And I wanted to speak with Sam because since I've known her and a little

before, since I know a bit of her history, she's really thrown her whole soul into very nine of pentacles pursuits, first with an erotic culture-shaping

store called Coco de Merr, which was really one of its kind as it existed in London.

And then as someone who organized and put together a food sovereignty movement

that supported farmers and it still lives on.

And now she's working with a group to protect and preserve indigenous culture
