Greetings, my name is Kaisanga and I welcome you this Tuesday to Radio Headspace. It's

no secret that I'm passionate about mindfulness. It's how I live my life, being in the moment,

appreciating the present moment. And also recognizing how enjoying and appreciating things

in the present moment can also make you reminisce on positive things from the past, creating

even more feelings of positivity and appreciation. So one of the highlights of my day is going

to pick up my daughters from school. I'm usually writing and working all day and so taking

that break to go pick up my daughters is fully welcomed. My youngest is in middle school

and my oldest is in high school. Now before you ask the only reason I pick up my oldest

is because of the pandemic. She's not so comfortable with writing the bus and being in those

closed quarters, which I completely understand and actually welcome. I get to have another

year of picking my girls up from school. So anyways, during pick up I enjoy watching

the high school students interacting. As I sit watching them, memories from my past

of when I was in high school start to come to mind. And for the most part they're very

pleasant memories. It's like I'm automatically shifted into a positive state of mind.

And yes, the lot has changed since my days in high school, but a lot has remained the

same. I usually see the same characters from back in my day. The jocks hanging out together
