Welcome. Welcome everybody to a re-watch series, a special series of The Pit, a show that Matt and I love.

I'm Dr. Mark Todorovich. This is my co-host, Dr. Matthew Barton. And this is something a little bit different to what we usually do.

We started watching The Pit, or at least I did, and I got Matt into it. And I love the show. And there's so much medicine and anatomy and physiology, anything related to the human body we love. And we thought this is a great opportunity to do a re-watch,

talk about the characters, talk about the people we love, the people we hate,

but also what's happening when they talk about all the medical mumbo-jumbo, sort of break it down.

So we're going to do episode by episode.

This is the first, season one, episode one. That's all I've watched. I've only watched

episode one where you've watched the whole series. Yeah, I've moved forward with it. I can't

help it because my wife's loving it. So I think I'm up to episode six of the first season.

There won't be any spoilers. So we'll just go through episode by episode. In this first one, we're going to have to set the scene a little bit.

So the first 10 minutes or so, we're going to introduce who the characters are, what they're doing,

whether they're an intern or a resident or an attending, and what the hell any of that means.

So it's important for us to say that this episode, tell me if you agree, this series,

we're not doing, this is just for educational purposes only and for fun, right?
