So we're starting a new series, a new journey together and I'm excited because it's really a few week

series that we'll do together but it's the long arc of the year that God is thinking about

today and what God is thinking about today.

And what God's thinking about today

is more than just a New Year's resolution for you.

And if you're into New Year's resolutions,

I don't want to rain on your parade.

You just go to town on that that's amazing I think every every new beginning

you know comes with that new optimism and if you're off on a new diet or new workout plan or

You know getting a new boyfriend or whatever it is that you're

working on this year that is incredible but what I want us to think about is a

long-term arc of becoming the people that God wants us to become. What would it look like if

you and I could imagine today what God sees for our lives? If we could see a picture of what God sees for our lives and we could start

on the journey towards something greater than what we have experienced in the past. Someone better than the person that we have lived with in the past.

And I think under this idea of habit,

we have the potential for God to lead us a long, long way in life.

I don't know how that series has hit you already,

when you knew we were going to talk about habit.

They're good habits and bad habits,

but the thing is, we're all a product of the choices that we make.

Someone said that first we make our habits

and then our habits make us.
