Former Lakers head coach Phil Jackson has, reportedly, noted support for point guard Russell Westbrook, who (as was noted on Wednesday's show) has a pretty decent chance of being in a Lakers uniform next season. Or at the least, being eligible to wear one, assuming the Lakers don't buy him out or pay him to sit on the sidelines. Jackson reportedly believes Westbrook wasn't utilized properly this season and is a fan of his talent. All of that could mean a lot of things, and all of it kinda makes fans a little nervous. Particularly those who don't think Jackson should have a significant voice in choosing the next head coach. So is the concern warranted? As always, God is in the details.
