Speaking of time travel, you're wearing a hat.

Yeah, people who are not watching this show on YouTube are going to miss the fact that I'm wearing a jaunty hat. They don't know that Long Winters is now a swing revival band.

So this hat. They had no idea that you joined the Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. We were playing a show in

Winnipeg 15 years ago and at a theater, you know, that was used multiple purpose theater

in Winnipeg. And this hat was sitting on the stage when we arrived middle of the

afternoon you know to load in and so i put the hat on and started walking around and uh well and that's the

thing and and so someone that worked at the place said wow you're wearing the hat.

You know, you're wearing like Arnie's hat.

And I was like, who's Arnie?

And they said, Arnie was an old man that lived here in Winnipeg that everybody knew that like walked the alleys collecting old cans.

And he was a beloved figure. then arnie one day gave he died or

whatever and his hat ended up with this the manager of the theater and the hat's been here

just kind of around the theater for several years.
