Summary
When Police Constable David Haigh was asked to deliver a summons to a poacher, it was quite a routine procedure for a police officers covering such a rural area. However, when the officer failed to return and couldn’t be contacted, his colleague PC Mick Clipston was sent out to find the missing officer. As he approached the tree lined, picnic area known as Norwood Edge he came upon a police car in a clearing at the side of the road with the doors open.
As he got closer and parked he could see somebody was laid next to the car. To his shock and great distress, it was the dead body of his colleague, with a single bullet wound in the middle of his forehead.
And more murders would follow.....
