Political tension, financial instability, widespread violence, and the list goes on and on. All of this is a reminder that we need

revival. In this study, Scott Pauley leads us through a study of the Old Testament book of

Habakkuk and brings a comparison from our day to the day in which Habakkuk served.

What was needed in his day is exactly what our world needs today.

We all have people and needs. But I want to give you one great prayer request today, and it is really not mine.

It is the Lord's prayer request. It is the thing he reveals in Habakkuk chapter 3

and that those who truly want to see revival must pray.

And I want to challenge you to put this at the top of your prayer list.

We read again, a prayer of Habakkuk, the Prophet upon Shigginov. Literally, the word is a word of

extremity, of desperation. We've learned that already. It was often associated with musical things.

And so the idea here is, there is revival praying going on and revival singing

going on. He's crying out with a broken heart to God. And here's his prayer. Verse two, O Lord, I have heard

thy speech and was afraid. Oh, Lord, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make

known in wrath, remember mercy.
