busy period of legislating here on Capitol Hill. And it's kind of interesting because we have

kind of been waiting for this moment for months now, right? If you look at so many of the

biggest issues that are going to come to ahead in May are things that have been, you know, we've known are going to be the big issues for months, right?

Medicaid cuts.

What's going to happen when it comes to, you know, the cuts on energy and commerce, on salt, on energy tax credits.

House Republicans have punted in those things, saying, okay, we're

going to deal with those later. Well, now it's later. Now is the time. Now it's later, yes.

Those time, those issues. And it is still very unclear exactly where things are going to shake out.

It is. Why is it unclear? Because they've put these decisions very late in the game. Just, you know,

in the last couple of days, they've scrapped a $20 registration fee on automobiles. They've

reversed plans to shift in the reconciliation bill. At least we'll talk more about this in a minute.

Plans to shift anti-trust enforcement away from the Federal Trade Commission.

The House Ways and Means Committee won't even commit to a date for their markup. I mean, it's May 1st.
