So last weekend we went to VidCon and we actually recorded a live episode at VidCon

so I was convinced that I wasn't going to enjoy it anywhere near as much as I had enjoyed recording the ones in the studio

just because it is a much more pressurising environment you know you're speaking to a live audience

but I was shocked to find that I enjoyed it so much more

even though we were nervous beforehand

I think being in such a welcoming space everyone who came and saw it was just so lovely

So today's episode is going to focus on something which I feel a lot of us have encountered in some form or another during our lives which is perfectionism.

We really wanted to draw a distinction before we start between perfectionism as it is understood in everyday language

and in the media and clinical perfectionism which is much more debilitating and it affects somebody's everyday

and it is more psychologically recognised.
