Hello and welcome to the first ever episode of The Woodens Boon.

Now what is The Woodens Boon?

I hear you ask well.

Let me tell you.

So The Woodens Boon is a brand new podcast featuring unjaded Jade Ruby Granger, Eve Cornwell

and me Jack Edwards from the YouTube, but this time in audio form.

So The Woodens Boon as a metaphor, it's kind of the thing that you're given if you

come in last place in a race.

And at that time it is a completely useless instrument, it has no purpose.

And so the point of this podcast isn't about, you know, avoiding failure or making sure

that failure never happens.

It's more about redefining failure and embracing failure and making it work to your own

advantage.

The thing about a Woodens Boon is that you can repurpose it, you could use it to bake

a cake or in our instance you could use it to make a song around London landmarks,

which we've been doing to promote the podcast, which has been so fun.

And this weekend we're actually going to VidCon.

By the time this podcast goes up, it would have been in gone.

Hopefully some of you saw us there in this particular episode we're talking about rejection

and personal anecdotes from that kind of thing and what we how we see failure and rejection.
