Today's message is entitled The Perfect Promise.

Now, I'm not going to have you flip in your Bible to a specific passage.

I honestly would really prefer to do that.

But this is going to be kind of a thematic Bible study with the title, again, being

the perfect promise.

And it's going to, in some ways, set the stage for my dad's message in two weeks called

the greatest gift and so for today it's the perfect promise i'm also going to be mindful of the

time because we're going to partaking communion together after the service but there's so much

that the lord has put on my heart to share with you.

And so I'm going to be just be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and cutting things out and adding things in as he leads me.

So who knows what is going to come out of my mouth today.

Thankfully, it's Christmas.

So, you know, if I bomb this message, we have Christmas to look forward to and many great,

wonderful gifts.

But for today's message, again, it is called the perfect promise.

Now, a little bit of participation here today.

Who exactly is the perfect promise? Smart bunch. I knew. I knew you guys would have that

right answer. Now that's kind of the answer, the default answer, right? Whenever we're not exactly

sure what to say. In Sunday school, what did you learn about kids? We learned about Jesus. It's like,

well, that's right. I can't say you're wrong, but like give me a little bit about, kids? We learned about Jesus. It's like, well, that's right.

I can't say you're wrong, but like give me a little bit more, right?

And so that's kind of the default answer.
