In this episode, I am talking to Dr. Bob Davis. He graduated with a PhD in sensory

neurosciences from a higher state university

and served as a professor for over 30 years. In his book, Life After Death and Analysis of the

Evidence, Dr. Davis explores the potential for an afterlife through the analysis of case

studies, interviews and research findings of near-death and out-of-body experiences,

mediumship, apparitions, psychic explanations, and reincarnation.

Dr. Davis, thank you for coming on to the past lives podcast.

Can you tell us what led you to write your book?

You know, I'd have an excellent question, but I'm not quite sure.

But my background in neuroscience, in which I was a professor at the State University of New

York for several decades and now retired, so I have free time to do some writing and exploring

issues that I've always found fascinating like consciousness.

And that led me to read numerous books and articles on the matter and realize that insufficient

evidence exists to understand, let alone explain an aspect of consciousness, what it is, what governs it, what

facilitates it.

And there are varying opinions by philosophers, neuroscientists, physicists, et cetera.

And no one hasn't agreed upon idea about what it is.

And as a neuroscientist, I found that concept quite fascinating.
