It's very kind of you to give us your time.

It's a real pleasure to be here, Simon. I wanted to start off by asking you about your work.

Your emergency medical technician, is that right? Yeah, I'm a paramedic, which is the advanced

life support level of emergency medical technician. What I wanted to ask was if you've ever seen

anything within your work, because one of my

previous guests was a nurse in an intensive care unit for 17 years, and what she saw there

led her on to study near-death experiences, and now she's a PhD.

And I was wondering if you've seen anything which would suggest near-death experience

or terminal lucidity or deathbed visions?

You know, I haven't personally experienced that as part of what I do,

but tangentially I have.

A good friend of mine, a young chap named Kyle Stolmack. It's his birthday today.
