During routine maintenance on a submerged oil pipeline,

a team of five experienced divers encountered a catastrophic event.

An unforeseen error during their work triggered a powerful suction effect, commonly referred

to as delta P, within the pipeline, rapidly pulling all five divers into its depths.

While the situation was dire, the possibility of rescue remained.

However, a series of missteps during the subsequent rescue operation meant that no genuine

attempt to save the trap divers was ever made.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, a series of accusations of prioritization of cost cutting over human life were made.

Four of the five divers tragically lost their lives.

Only one diver, against all odds, managed to survive the ordeal and escape the pipeline's deadly grasp.
