Hey, everybody, welcome to another emergency podcast. I don't know how many it's been just in the last seven days alone, but this one is not because of a Minnesota Vikings move.

This one is because the NFC North just got rocked. The Green Bay Packers

have traded for Micah Parsons. They give up two first round draft picks and Kenny Clark

defensive tackle for Micah Parsons.

And then they sign Micah Parsons to a four-year deal worth $188 million total and $136 million guaranteed.

Over the last, I would say, six weeks or so, eight weeks since training camps got

started in the NFL. And Micah Parsons was sitting out. And every single time Jerry Jones talked,

it sounded crazier. It sounded more diluted. It sounded more like he might not know who Micah Parsons is.

And the offers that were leaked out there that Jerry Jones supposedly gave Micah Parsons

and then wanted to negotiate with him away from his agent were not particularly impressive.

And Parsons was taking a nap on the sideline

and was not practicing and was seemingly growing more and more frustrated as he is one of the

truly elite players in the National Football League and the prices that were out there were just

not consummate with what he does for his football team in comparison

to the other great pass rushers in the NFL.

And the situation got more weird and it got more tense.

And as it went along, it seemed a little bit like maybe he could be traded.

And then yesterday, some steam, some buzz started to grow that it was possible that

Micah Parsons could get traded.

And a random account on Twitter that sometimes breaks news ended up saying that he was going

to go to the Packers.
