Hello, welcome to another episode of Pop Bear Hikes.

Alright, this is part three and how to get started hiking.

And before I go any further, I realize, you know, what is hiking?

Geez, talking to us like we're idiots, we never hike before, we never walk.

No, I don't mean to do that. I'm not trying to be sarcastic or facetious here.

Maybe more what I'm trying to do, maybe it's more about trying to motivate people to

get out of the house and take advantage of what's out there, start, you know,

no matter what your physical condition is, get out there and take advantage

of the outdoors and start enjoying it.

It shouldn't matter what your physical condition is, you don't need to

get out there and start hiking the Appalachian Trail or climbing Pikes Peak.

Just find a little trail around your neighborhood and even walk around your neighborhood.

But in this segment I want to talk about, how do you get started?

Where do you start? I have to have figured out my clothing,

what your physical limitations are or your abilities.

What do you do next? Well, you plan your trip, plan your hike,

plan where it is you want to go.
