Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, whatever time of day it is for you friends.

Welcome to the morning mindset.

This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with the truth of God's Word.

We have been doing so through the book of Proverbs, or in chapter 27, we're going to be looking

at two verses from that chapter, verse 7 and verse 14.

And we're going to be talking about the other guy's point of view, or the other person's point of view.

Before we get into it, I want to remind you, we have a companion journal available for the morning mindset.

Now it's not going to take you section by section through the passages that we talk about on the morning mindset,

but it's going to give you a format by which you can journal in your own style using your own verb.

Okay, Proverbs 27, verses 7 and 14, are going to give us a little peek into what it's like to be in someone else's shoes.

Let's read verse 7.

It says, one who is full, loads honey, but the one who is hungry, everything bitter is sweet.

Okay, so Solomon's painting two contrasting pictures for us here.

First is someone who has way too much their full.

And as a result, they don't even want to eat something that most people would really like, meaning a sweet treat of some sort.

In this case, it's honey.

So we can understand that.

We've all probably been in those shoes, but then look at the next part of the verse.
