There's one word that plays a substantial role in whether someone

will say yes to any requests you ask of them. As a blogger, you are constantly trying to get

people to say yes to many, many requests. This makes this word vitally important to you and your blog.

Many words are probably going through your head right now,

but I am willing to bet it is not the one I'm about to tell you.

The word that swings the pendulum in your favor is

because there have been several studies that have proven the impact of this simple word.

The most famous of these studies was conducted by a Harvard research team led by Ellen Longer.

Let me give you a quick summary of the research study because it is simply amazing.

The study looked at human behavior and responses when researchers asked to cut in line.

The location of the study was a Xerox machine in a busy college library.

The researchers would go in front of a person in line to cut,

and then they would ask them one of three versions of a question.

The first version was the request only with no reason and it was, excuse me, I have five pages.
